Memory loss, also called amnesia, means having trouble remembering things. It can involve forgetting recent events, memories, or both. Sometimes, this forgetfulness is temporary and resolves on its own.
It’s normal to forget things occasionally, like misplacing your keys or not remembering someone’s name right after meeting them.

As we get older, it’s normal to experience some memory issues and slight changes in our thinking abilities. But when memory loss becomes severe, it could be a sign of Alzheimer’s or similar diseases. Some memory problems can also be treated.
